Evening Standard Haiku

After moving to London, I spent my unemployed days sleeping on my friend's sofa, waiting for agencies to notice I'd arrived and flood my inbox with job prospects.

I was bored, almost broke and delusional.

Evening Standard Haiku is a personal art project created on said friend's sofa as a way to pass the time and do something creative everyday.

I take the afternoon newspaper and create topical haiku from the headlines. It remains one of my favourite projects ever. Check them all out @EveningStandardHaiku
